International Figure Skating Judging System (IJS)
In the IJS, competitors accumulate points based on the degree of difficulty (base value) of each technical element and how well each element is executed (grade of execution, or GOE). Skaters also earn points based on their overall skating ability and performance level through program component scores.

- Purpose: To create interest in Solo Dance in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East regions.
- offering an introduction to skaters and coaches, as well as judges, and include technical panel education and training.
- John Millier (ISU Technical Controller) and Kristen Fraser-Lukanin (ISU Technical Specialist and KrigorStudio coach) are both the current co-chairs of the ISU Solo Dance working group and have been invited to act as the moderators for the seminar.
Day 1 - Saturday, September 27th 2025, in classroom presentations from 10:00AM to 6:00PM with several breaks, including one for lunch.

Soligorsk International Inline
5-6 July 2025, Soligorsk Belarus 🇧🇾
The International Inline Race 2025! Taking place in Soligorsk, Belarus, the event includes a training camp from June 27 to July 6, with races held on July 5–6. Skaters of all levels — from Kids to Masters — are welcome to compete for medals and sponsor prizes on the professional Soligorsk roller track. Athletes from across the globe will gather to show off their speed and skills in this adrenaline-packed competition.

- Race Days: 5–6 July, all age categories included
The event takes place at Soligorsk Roller Track in Belarus. Competition dates are 5–6 July, following a pre-camp from 27 June.
Union Figure Skating Trophy

Alpha X Sports proudly organizes the Figure Skating Judges’ Seminar in partnership with the UAE Winter Sports Federation, taking place alongside the Union Figure Skating Trophy 2025. Hosted at Zayed Sport City Ice Rink, this event brings together aspiring figure skating judges for expert-led training and live judging experience.
Led by a top-level ISU official, the seminar supports the development of national-level officials and paves the way for future international certification. It’s a key step in strengthening the figure skating ecosystem in the UAE and beyond.

From February 15 to 18, skaters from all continents will showcase their skills at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi. For fans, it's a festive blend of sports and art. For athletes, a crucial step toward the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy.

Roll Oryx Time Trial
2024 At Hudayriat, United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪
The RollOryx Speed Time Trial is a dynamic 5KM inline skating race held on Hudayriyat Cycling Track in Abu Dhabi. Open to anyone with inline skates and a helmet, the event invites skaters to challenge themselves and set personal speed records while enjoying the thrill of competition.
- Open to all skaters (individuals or groups of 2–10) with proper gear.
- 5KM time trial to evaluate speed and fitness across multiple age groups.
- Prizes include trophies for top 3 in each category, plus digital results for all.
Part of a specialized training camp, the event offers coaches a valuable opportunity to assess skaters’ athletic levels and track their progress in a real racing environment. Participants will compete in age and gender-based categories, with top finishers receiving trophies and special souvenirs, and all registered skaters receiving a digital certificate, transponder, race number, and water.
